The Health Administration, the European Medicines Agency (EMA), was reminded of the announcement that the Johnson and Johnson company could find a link between the vaccine developed against Kovid-19 and very rare cases of blood clotting.
In the statement that the Kovid-19 epidemic was under control in Denmark and the program continued well with other vaccines, it was noted that Johnson and Johnson’s Kovid-19 vaccine was removed from the program because it would not be worth taking the risk.
In the country where 8.2 million doses of Johnson and Johnson vaccine administered as a single dose were ordered, no information was shared about what to do with the vaccines.
Denmark, which continues its Kovid-19 vaccination program with Biontech / Phfizer and Moderna vaccines, also removed the AstraZeneca vaccine from its vaccination program on April 14.
